Aleksei Archer and Alex Guarnaschelli

Aleksei Archer is a dynamic and versatile American model and actor with the birthplace of New York. Television personalities mark their birthday on the 14th of August. Born in St. Louis, she moved to New York City at the age of only days. In 1991, she graduated at Barnard College with a degree in art historical studies. This was the year that she started a new job in a place called An American Place for one year. Guarnaschelli began her culinary career before that time, looking at her mother's test kitchen as she edited cookbooks at home. When she was working under Larry Forgione, she worked at a number of restaurants such as Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot in New York France Los Angeles. Her final position was as chef in charge at Butter. Guarnaschelli was a contestant in 2007's Farmers Market Battle, a segment of Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she was up against Cat Cora. In the years since, she's appeared on the show as a guest judge. In addition, she took part in The Next Iron Chef Season Four in 2011, when she was third. She competed and lost in the final episode of Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. She was appointed sous-chef of Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian after the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef. Her role as host for The Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008, and she instructs a small class of students in how to recreate classic dishes.
